Short Burn Times: Burning a candle for short periods (less than 1-2 hours) can lead to tunnelling because the wax doesn't have enough time to melt fully across the container.

Rotate Your Candle: To prevent tunnelling in candles with multiple wicks, rotate the candle periodically while burning to ensure all wicks are utilized evenly.
